Today, we are thrilled to once again announce that Teleperformance has been awarded a full Enterprise-wide Social Responsibility certification from Verego. As a company that has committed itself to upholding the highest standards in social responsibility, this sixth consecutive certification from Verego is truly a milestone that we will value. This year, Teleperformance was able to maintain exceptional scores that, on average, are the highest in the entire industry.
The rating system of Verego’s Social Responsibility Standard (SRS) certification establishes core social responsibility requirements and standards that guide organizations in managing, establishing, and implementing their own social responsibility initiatives, goals, and programs. The certification is awarded to organizations that excel in terms of policies and practices in five key areas: Leadership, Ethics, People, Community, and the Environment. The assessment also focuses on stakeholder transparency, honest marketing, employee health and safety, community investment and engagement, and resource use.
Carole Kerry, Lead Certification Assessor at Verego, noted Teleperformance’s best practices in its CSR initiatives all over the world. "Over the last six years, Teleperformance has continued to demonstrate their leadership in responsible business practices. Not only has the organization achieved SRS Certification at the enterprise level, but it has also been able to demonstrate that these responsible policies and programs are implemented across their global sites,” Kerry stated. “Leading industry best practices, Teleperformance has continued to develop policies and programs, particularly in the areas of human rights, community engagement, environment, and sourcing.”
